Hi! I’m Alex, a Data Solutions Architect focusing on Cloud Data projects based in the UK. I also have additional extensive experience as a Principal Architect & Principal Data Engineer. I have recently been awarded the Databricks Solutions Architect Champion.
I’m the creator of Databricks Release Hub, a community resource that tracks and organizes Databricks releases, announcements, and updates to help data professionals stay current with the rapidly evolving platform.
This blog is a space for me to capture and share my thoughts on working in IT, working with data & AI, coding and problems solving as well as a few technical hacks I thought might help others.
I have contributed to Open Source projects, most notably the Apache Commons Validator project and the open source Unity Catalog. I also do some competitive coding and have won 1 Silver and 4 Bronze medals in Hackerrank coding competitions.
